I’m delighted to share a new collaboration with Panerai, a brand renowned for its sense of craftsmanship and unique blend of Italian design and Swiss watchmaking precision.
This new project follows a memorable first encounter last year in Japan, where I was invited to create a series of quick portraits during a special event held at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo.

This year, I had the pleasure of working once again with the Panerai Japanese team to develop an editorial illustration inspired by the brand’s rich heritage and its deep connection to the sea.
In fact, the brand originally created instruments for the Italian Navy and keeps to this day a deep connection to maritime exploration.
At the heart of this inspiration lies the Eilean, a magnificent 1936 Bermudian ketch that Panerai discovered, restored, and brought back to life.
The Eilean perfectly embodies the brand’s philosophy: a dedication to preserving history while celebrating temporary design and technical excellence, and so it naturally became the main focus for my illustration.

Once finalised, the artwork was adapted across a range of promotional assets: it was printed on beautiful tote bags and delicate pocket handkerchiefs.
These pieces were then gifted to members of the Paneristi community and loyal Panerai clients during a spring event in Japan, extending the life of the illustration and into everyday moments.

As with my previous collaborations, I love seeing how illustrations can evolve into tangible experiences, whether displayed at scale, worn, or carried.
This project was another opportunity to show the value of illustration nowadays: translating a brand’s story into imagery, while staying true to its DNA, adding my unique and vibrant point of view.
I’m extremely grateful to the Panerai team for their trust and for allowing me to once again interpret their world through my own lens.
