I am extremely happy to share today my latest collaboration with the house of Cartier, for whom I have had the pleasure of working several times in the past, between Switzerland and Italy. This time, I travelled to La Chaux-de-Fonds, at the heart of Switzerland’s watchmaking region, to visit one of Cartier’s manufactures.

Opened in 2000, the site brings together all stages of Cartier watchmaking under the same roof, while also preserving traditional craftsmanship through its nearby Maison des Métiers d’Art.

This time, I was invited to create quick portraits of Cartier employees from the manufacture. The participants had actually won an internal company contest, with the prize being a portrait by yours truly, something that made the experience even more personal and rewarding.

Over the course of my time there, I met and portrayed a selection of talented individuals, each contributing in their own way to the artistry behind Cartier’s creations. It was really a unique and lovely opportunity, highlighting the human side of watchmaking, which resonates even more today.

Thank you to the entire Cartier team for their truly warm welcome and trust and for letting me step into their world. It's been an absolute pleasure! Feel free to explore the gallery below for a glimpse into this special experience:
