I am extremely proud to unveil this very special project I have been working on for L'Officiel Italia. Once again the Italian bookzine trusts the power of illustration, inviting me to create "Tropicalia" a fully illustrated fashion editorial presenting key looks of the Spring/Summer 2020 season.
Tropicalia is infused with botanical elements like palms and exotic flowers and tropical and wild prints, while the colour palette includes different shades of green.
This fashion editorial was conceived together with Giampietro Baudo, Editor-in-Chief of L'Officiel Italia and fashion editor Giulio Martinelli, in charge of the styling.
Tropicalia includes looks from Fendi, Versace, Valentino by Pierpaolo Piccioli, Bottega Veneta by Daniel Lee, Marni by Francesco Risso and Burberry by Riccardo Tisci, exploring how different designers approached the tropical theme this season.
It was a huge honour to be able to work on such a challenging project that shows once again how illustration could be easily adapted to different briefs. Thank you very much to Giampietro and the whole L'Officiel Italia team for trusting me once again.
