FORTNITE

Fortnite, developed by Epic Games, is one of the most popular online video games at the moment. It’s easy to access, constantly changing, and closely connected to the internet and gaming culture.

Players enjoy a unique experience, teaming up with friends, unlocking new outfits (including exciting collaborations with top designers), and taking part in seasonal events with new content.

Among these, the Fortnite Global Championship is probably the most popular, bringing together the top Fortnite players from around the world to compete for massive prize pools and global recognition.

In 2025, Epic Games brought the Fortnite Global Championship to Lyon, at LDLC Arena, so I had the pleasure of teaming up with them during an exciting event.

Held at Les Voiles du Grand Large, a hotel‑residence complex located just outside Lyon, the event took place right before the Global Championship weekend, on a beautiful terrace by the water.

During the evening, I enjoyed creating quick watercolour portraits of the guests, adding to a fun and lively night where top Fortnite players came together to unwind before the major competition.
