LOEWE SS23

Updated: Aug 31, 2022

An animation I created based on the Loewe SS23 show

"Screens turn coats and tops into projection devices. Birds flying, fish swimming, water dripping and humans kissing on screens. The real and the digitally reproduced. Nature and technology meet within a glaringly white, mind-expanding environment. A collection that juxtaposes to entice new perspectives".

For Loewe Spring/Summer 2023, creative director Jonathan Anderson writes yet another page of fashion history, introducing a wise mix of technology and nature, creating a perfect hybrid that clearly reflects our times.

The most unique offering of the season at Paris Fashion Week, Loewe presents a series of luxurious garments that perfectly blends organics and technology.

Real grass finds its way into the coats and accessories as part of a one-of-a-kind collaboration with Spanish designer Paula Ulargui Escalona, who watered and grew the grass for days prior to the show.

And then, screens and iPhones, projecting nature and daily images, are incorporated into coats and sweaters, mirroring our addiction to smartphones and the internet.

The daring designer keeps experimenting and pushing his boundaries, creating the most contemporary and truest collection of the season.
