A few months ago I was approached by Giampietro Baudo, newly appointed editor in chief of L'Officiel Italia, to be part of "Cahier de Couture", an amazing illustrated feature for their magazine.

"Cahier de Couture", published in the May/June 2019 issue of L'Officiel Italia, is an open dialogue between the art of fashion illustration and the Haute Couture ateliers.

I was asked to create three illustrations based on the dreamy Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2019 Valentino collection by Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Giampietro Baudo wished to go back to the roots of fashion, enhancing the power of illustration that, in the beginning, was the foundation of fashion publications like L'Officiel de la Mode and other magazines.

I feel extremely grateful and honoured to be part of "Cahier de Couture" along with other talented artists. As an Italian illustrator, having the opportunity to be published in my country and to work on such a beautiful collection and compelling project, makes me also quite proud.
