OFF-WHITE AW20

Updated: Aug 10, 2021

Kicking off Paris Fashion Week sketching backstage at Off-White felt like a homecoming, as I had the pleasure to work with the Virgil Abloh's brand a couple of seasons ago, yet it was an amazing moment for me. Although the backstage was pretty packed with photographers, make-up artists and other members of the team, I managed to find my way and create a couple of sketches right before the beginning of the fashion show.

After a few months sabbatical, Virgil Abloh comes back stronger than ever with "Tornado Warning", a collection that feels like a sort of a new beginning, as the designer explores new meanings to the concept of streetwear, leading the conversation to a more refined tailored attitude.

Like tranquillity before the chaos, the Autumn/Winter 2020 Off-White fashion show felt like the beginning of a new chapter for the brand: aren't we all excited to see what's coming next?

This sketch, created backstage, is part of my Paris Fashion Week AW20 live illustrated coverage for L'Officiel Hommes Italia.
