ROBERTA EINER AW19

On Day 5 of London Fashion Week, I had the pleasure to attend the Roberta Einer Autumn/Winter 2019 fashion show and to create this quick watercolour sketch, based on Look 12 of her new offering.

This new collection has been described by the designer herself as her most intimate and diverse so far: this time Einer draws inspiration from her grandmother's life. This new offering is based on a project she was working on during her last year at the University of Westminster, now approached with more maturity.

Roberta Einer visually explores patterns inspired by artwork from the Soviet time and traditional Russian embroidery, remixing everything with tartan pieces inspired by her own grandmother's wardrobe.

The designer keeps on building her unique signature, developing her technique and focusing on textiles to create a playful and powerful feminine vision.
