A preview of the Autumn/Winter 2019 collection of Ludovic de Saint Sernin was showcased with the screening of a film, "2 boys and a dream to die for", at Matchesfashion's 5 Carlos Place boutique, during London Fashion Week Men’s. That time I also had the pleasure to meet this talented designer, whose work I've been following since my Parisian days.

I was then highly anticipating his AW19 show during Paris Fashion Week, as a precious moment for me to quickly sketch live some of his beautiful work, and I wasn't disappointed!

The collection draws inspiration from the glamourous life of legendary supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington, through the minimal and sexy lenses of Ludovic.

Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent, the designer featured in the collection also a series of casts of different parts of the male body, like ceramic pecs and nipple, exploring at the same time our daily need of self-expression on social media.

With the ANDAM Creative Label prize under his belt, Ludovic was also able to use a variety of Swarovski crystals for his collection, culminating with a million-dollar eyelet briefs made of 31460 crystals!
