DANIEL W. FLETCHER AW19

As his Spring/Summer 2019 collection was one of my personal favourites of the past season, I was really looking forward to discovering the new offering by Daniel w. Fletcher on day one of London Fashion Week Men's.

The show took place in a very intimate location and the collection is an ode to the factories, the talent, and the craftsmanship in Great Britain. For Autumn/Winter 2019, Daniel w. Fletcher reconnects to his Northen roots and its rich history of textile manufacturing, using precious fabrics from British mills like wools, silks and merinos.

Some pieces, like shirts, t-shirts and scarves, were created in collaboration with photographer John Bulmer that documented an era of mass industrial and social change. His pictures are then wisely printed on the garments, to reflect the social and political climate of Great Britain in the 60's.
